Something happened in class today. I don't wish to say what happened, but the reason I'm posting this is because there is something else that I want to talk about.
The-person-I'm-talking-about-and-you-know-who-you-are, I'm sorry if i hurt your feelings here, but I must point out that you have been VERY DISRESPECTFUL to others. You spoke to others about what happened. Fine, I mean, that's your own mouth, we have no rights to stop you from forming your words and phrases. But you were talking SO LOUD, as if no one will notice, which in fact people were just not even 2 meters away from you. There were some classmates which actually advised you to lower your voice, but you just gave a I-don't-give-God-damned-care look and continued with your speech.
Do you know how disrespectful are you? Do you know how much does it hurt? Have you ever thought of other peoples' feelings? HOW ABOUT PUTTING YOURSELF INTO OTHER PEOPLES' SHOES? How does it feel? Fun? Proud? Honoured? Glorified?
There's one very good Malay phrase to be used:
TANYA DIRI SENDIRI
No doubt you felt happy and excited when talking about it, but for the most basic manners of all's sake, please RESPECT OTHERS. There's no sin to sing or to say anything you like, but there's also not even a hair of guilt if you can just halt your voice box from vibrating or tune down your volume when others are present. I guess you have read what Confucius said since Standard 2: WHAT YOU DO NOT WANT DONE TO YOURSELF, DO NOT DO TO OTHERS.
How about a taste of your own piercing blades? What if THIS happened to you? What will you think?
Perhaps when you are reading this you will say or think something like:" yeah right, this will never happened to me, I will never do such thing and you don't have a damned right to teach me how to be a homo sapiens." Yes, you are right. I don't have a damned right to teach you the way of humans. But this will never happened to you in life?
MY FOOT
For a better future of everyone, ESPECIALLY YOURS, do learn how to respect people. If you need another advice from Confucius, this is for you:
RESPECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS WILL RESPECT YOU.
I'm done. Thank you.
